Finally an interview with the US Embassy in Bogota after almost 2 years.

I have been reading some of the articles about the embassy.  Some say the petitioner can be in the embassy and others say no...anyone know the latest?

We have been married almost 3 years and I have been a legal Colombian resident for more than 10 years.  I hope the interview goes smoothly.

Also is the biometrics done at the embassy?

Thanks for any comments.

My fiance and I just recently completed the process at the embassy in Bogota and she received her visa last week.

1) Some say the petitioner can be in the embassy and others say no...anyone know the latest?

Yes, the petitioner can enter.

2) Also is the biometrics done at the embassy?

No.  They are done at Centro de Atencion al Solicitante (aka CAS), which is  at Ac. 26 #92-32, Bogotá, Colombia.

The petitioner CANNOT enter the CAS

~~ Duplicate thread removed. Do not start multiple threads asking same or related questions (in this case Visa interview and biometric appt) as that’s spamming ~~
