Hello All,

We just recieved our interview dates for my wife and stepdaughter. The dates are scheduled about 2 months out and it's to be in Ciudad Juarez.

Finding an acceptable vaccine (one that is acceptable by CDC and/or FDA) is proving to be more difficult than I imagined. It's not safe traveling around Mexico so I would rather not do it.

Has anyone been able to use the waiver for their medical examination prior to the interview in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico? Can they provide a full series in the form of a single dose vaccine at the medical examination?

My brother in law had to do a mix and match vaccine last year to re-enter on his B type visa, but even then the airline turned him away at first. I need this to be as smooth as possible. Thanks in advance.

Just let the vaccines be administered at the medical.  If it unavailable then, you would be given a waiver.

Hello all,

Has anyone had first hand experience with not being able to find a CDC/FDA approved COVID-19 vaccine prior to their interview?

My beneficiaries are from Jalisco, Mexico and we will process through Ciudad Juarez. There are no Pfizer, Moderna or Novavax available for them.

I know there is a waiver but I'm worried about meeting the criteria.

Also, I'm aware they can administer vaccinations at the medical exam. Can they supply a single dose circuit or will they provide the first injection and then provide a waiver?

Thanks in advance.

If they have a single dose CDC/WHO approved COVID vaccine then yes, if not then there should be a waiver.

this persons fiancés visa was approved without a covid vaccine in Juarez consulate:

I have read that they only accept the vaccines that are provided by the doctor's where you get the medical examination, their office is close to the Cd Juarez USA consulate. I got a few vaccines here where I live in Mexico to then found out that they are not going to accept it

Also I have a question: after you were documentarily qualified how much time did you have to wait for your interview to be scheduled?

Thanks for the feedback. We recieved notice that we were doc qualified back in June 2022. Then they gave us an interview date of 21-July-2023 and notified us on 19-May-2023.
