Just got DQ and are waiting for an interview date now. We also got another message stating how my income was too low to sponsor an immigrant. I graduated last May with a Computer Science degree and started working in June making $65,000. My 2022 tax return only shows 19000 as income last year since I only worked the 2nd half of the year.

The message stated I may add another joint sponsor, but that the consular officer will make the final decision on the income requirement. I saw somewhere on the NVC page, I believe, that stated the income amount can be overlooked for recent college graduates. So I'm curious if I should be worried, or if I will be fine? I could probably get my dad to joint sponsor if needed, but I don't want to if it's not necessary.

If you are DQ, and if you earn adequate income, don't worry about it.  That is a common, default note annotated by NVC.

"The US immigration process requires a great deal of knowledge, planning, time, patience, and a significant amount of money.  It is quite a journey!"

You will be fine if you can show evidence you will earn 65K in the 365 days following the interview.
