Hello,

We are trying to schedule an interview in Ankara, Turkey and there is no Visa dates. Has anyone had luck scheduling or happen to have any information regarding this?

We have been trying for over a month to pay the visa fee, however, this message always appears, "There are no available appointments at this time. Please check back in a few days as the Consular Section will open more appointments." When I call the embassy I get a very generic "we have no information whatsoever you just have to check the website."

Thanks for the help!

Yikes...I'm considering not transferring our case to Ankara because of this reason. I've heard from several people that you have to check the website multiple times throughout the day. Usually the beginning of the month and middle of the month is the best time to check. Ankara has a ton of backlog and people have been waiting for over 3 months with the same issue. Keep trying and trying, unfortunately I'm not sure there's anything else you can do :(

Yeah, we check it constantly. I remember reading you comment about it. My fiancé also is not a Turkish citizen, she is from Morocco attending school in Turkey. I've seen some people post on here about not being able to get an appointment and then a few weeks later they post that either they have it or are asking interview questions.

check only once a day/  if u try to often ,  u will be frozen out for a time'

she should maintain residence in Turkey and stay in school as her travels will put the case in AP  for extra security checks after interview and she should not make travel plans or quit school till she has visa in hand with no mistakes

also does she have the needed criminal reports (2 from Morocco)  des casiers judiciaires  and  a fiche anthropomtrique from local police department  long with the one(s) from Turkey

What does "frozen out for a time" look like specifically? It has always looked like the picture and said the same thing regardless of whether we check every 5 minutes or once in a while.

We travel a few times a year to new countries when her school is on break. Does this cause an issue? I have not heard of it being a problem before.

If she has no intention of finishing school is there a benefit? Because she has a decent amount of time on her residency left and she could be doing internships/training for a career instead.

Yes, she got those forms.

Thanks for the help!

the country site can stop u from trying over and over (freeze it for ,  i think 24 hours but keep  trying as  much as possible

both Turkey and Moroc are high fraud countries /that alone is the travel they will concern with but just traveling for vacations is fine /keep track of the dates as you will need to list them on ds  260 even if its already been done/  an update  will be required for the interview

school, college degree,  internsip,  training all is great

allah yekbel

Still no update for interview slots, approaching the 2 year anniversary of applying for the k1 visa... Any advice would be appreciated. I know some people have gotten interviews, which times they usually release slots or anything else would be great to know for snagging an interview slot!

Any luck getting an interview date yet? I'm working with my brother to build a bot that will check periodically throughout the day and send a message when a date is available. I feel like there's a ton of people waiting with the same issue at the Ankara Embassy. It would be great to get everyone's feedback and updates on appointment availability.

I've been checking but I have not been lucky yet. It's still the same message every time I check.

Hello,

My fiancé and I have arrived at the point of scheduling the interview. This is day two of no appointments available in Ankara and most of what I've found matches the same troubles you have had. You'll understand when I say this deflates hope tremendously after waiting over a year just to get to this point. I see your last post was in July. Please tell me you had success shortly after

If you click on A031's username, you'll see their previous posts and timeline, which in turn will show you they received their visa in October.

HTH.
