Ok, I have got the I-797 NOA for filing the I-485 along with all documents they asked for. I go to check my Receipt Number MSC-XX-XXX-XXXXX enter the RN click submit, then comes back as an unknown :blink: If they have issued me the NOA I-797, (arrived 3 days ago USPS) Q; If they have sent me the NOA with RN I should be in their system so I can check the status of this case or is there another waiting period until they have entered me into their system?

Sometimes it can take weeks until you can log into the system, what you are experiencing is far from abnormal. Just keep checking :)

Well right now a lot of people haven't been entered even though they have their biometrics in a couple of days.

So you can't really set a date or anything, for some they are in the system rather quickly, for others in takes a long time. Just be patient and check regularly.

08.2006: Entered with a B-2 visa.

07.06.07: Civil Wedding

07.17.2008 AOS approved with interview. It took 367 Days!

11.08.08: Big family wedding

09.18.09-10.03.09: First trip to France with Hubby

I-751

04.19.10: Package sent to Vermont

04.21.10: Delivered in Vermont

04.22.10: NOA date

04.23.10: Check cashed

05.17.10: Received biometrics appointment letter

06.07.10: Biometrics Appointment

06.26.10: Touched

07.07.10: Card Production Ordered!

It took me like 3 days or something to be able to check online after I received the NOAs.

2/23/07 - Mailed AOS packet to Chicago

2/25/07 - Package arrived in Chicago

3/05/07 - Checks cashed

3/05/07 - Received NOAs for I-765, I-485, & I-130!

3/09/07 - All touched

3/10/07 - Received biometrics appt letter

3/12/07 - All touched

3/13/07 - I-130 & I-765 touched

3/15/07 - I-485 touched

3/15/07 - Received email informing me that an RFE has been mailed to me about the I-485

3/19/07 - Received RFE for I-485 in the mail.

3/20/07 - Biometrics appt

3/21/07 - I-485 & I-765 touched

3/23/07 - Mailed back RFE with signature confirmation

3/26/07 - RFE was delivered to Lee's Summit, MO & was signed for by "Ashley Love"

It seems like these delays happened more often recently and I believe, it has something to do with so many people filing for AOS/EAD/AP before the end of this month.

I was always in the system within a few days, now I am curious how it will be for my AP that I just filed for last week.

But yes, just keep checking. You got your NOA1 already, so yes, you are in the system!

Is there an email address we can write to where we can ask them to manually enter our number into their system? It does seem very odd that we have already received our NOA1 (notice date 7/19/07) and we still can't even check on our status online.

I called USCIS today and the level 2 person I spoke to was an absolute dunce! To begin with, I couldn't understand her heavily accented English at all. And she had the audacity to be quite patronizing to me, asking if I understood what she said. I just can't believe some of the people they hire to work at these jobs. A complete moron. She refuses to answer my questions and continues to read answers from a script that has nothing to do with what I'm asking her. She hangs up the phone in the end as she can't help resolve anything I ask of her. :angry:

It took a very long time for our information to appear on the web case status, and my son's AoS still does not appear there even though we have his GC interview scheduled so I dunno what they are doing hehe
