some of you have been waiting to get your I-751 adjudication for a long time . So here iam adding the previous post about how to file a Mandamus in Federal Court. See the post attached here should you want to file a mandamus in Federal court. It will cost you $402 to file the lawsuit in federal court and get your i-751 adjudicated in about 60-90 days from the day of filing with court.

i have also attached a sample case of I-751 mandamus for reference. Read about it and ask questions . i will be happy to help those that are looking to DIY . you can use the content of sample case and change personal information that apply to your i-751 case

Strikes me as being simpler than say a I 601 and I would be reasonably comfortable putting one of those together

All a WoM is really doing is telling them to pull their finger out and do their job.

Expedites I see as different as they are free to file and seemingly random in their effectiveness.

What would be the point?   USCIS is issuing 48 month extensions now.   Waste of money, IMHO.

Seriously, what do these officers do.  Sometimes I picture them just hanging on to the disaster cases, probably getting together for coffee to laugh about them, while the simple ones and straightforward just sit there collecting dust. LOL

Easier to file a N400

Right.   Especially since the extension letter serves the same purpose as the card.   WOM makes sense in the case of immigration benefits that are yet to be had, such as actual visas.

Several benefits i can talk about with an approved 10 year green card. i-751 processing was suppose to only take 6 months but USCIS has made up 3-4 years as norm is just plain up bull

1) Transit through certain countries need visa as they wont accept wet stamp and expired green card + extension receipt

2)An inability to clearly and easily demonstrate lawful U.S. immigration status and employment authorization to employers and potential employers

3)An inability to clearly and easily demonstrate lawful U.S. immigration status and employment authorization to potential business partners

4) An inability to clearly and easily demonstrate lawful U.S. immigration status to law enforcement

5) An inability to clearly and easily demonstrate lawful U.S. immigration status to banking institutions

6) An inability to use the United States Customs and Border Protection’s Global Entry Program

7) inability to naturalize as U.S. citizens, despite being otherwise eligible to seek naturalization

😎 uncertainty as to their ultimate ability to remain in the UnitedStates, preventing  from making firm plans for their future

I would question that list.   I’d like to see credible evidence of people having issues with those things.

A green card is a green card, and the I-797 is clear evidence of legal status.

But hey, if it’s worth $400 to you, go ahead.

There is no “limbo” involved.   Status is the same whether evidenced by plastic card or  receipt notice with extension date.
