What documents do we need to import a car to USA

I  have a Toyota 2016 car and as Toyota Canada is refusing to provide a letter of compliance, does it mean I cannot import my car to the USA? Can someone please confirm. If we can we just need to pay import duty and is there is a guide that we can follow?

I did not ask them to issue it then as my move date was in 5-6 months (which I am regretting now). I called them today to issue it and they said they have scrapped the process of issuing compliance letters which is a shocker. I also called US side of Toyota, they still issue the letter for US vehicles only and they are not able to issue it for Canadian Vehicles. So, it means I am kind of stuck on what should i do next. Does anyone have any pointers? How much does the import duty cost? Does it make sense to sell the car and buy one in the USA?
