And yes I believe it matters whether a man grew up with females around or not. My hubby had only brothers and I have to deal with monthly comments like this:

Me on the bed, curled up, a glass of water on the nightstand and a open package Motrin extra strength, "I am in pain!!" all written on my forehead and he asks:

"Are you having cramps?" :innocent: ..uumh, NOOO, I just do this for the fun of it!!

"Is it that time of the month again?"

"IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO??" EEEhhh....take over for a few months!!!???

Now I know he only wants to be nice, that's the only reason why I haven't flipped on him yet.

And yes, progess questions such as "You still on?" are not appropriate!!!

I love him though!!!! :blush:

Jonny just knew to buy some chocolate on the way home from work during that time. Of course he was met with :crying: OMG YOU'RE SO SWEET I DON'T DESERVE YOU LOOK AT ME I'M ALL BLOATED AND FAT AND CRANKY AND COVERED IN PIMPLES I HAD A BAD DAY BLAH BLAH BLAH.....:crying:

I guess anything's better than the death glare combined with every other word I say being a curse word.

advice? BRING THE CHOCOLATE AND WALK AWAY!

p.s. never stopped us from getting down though, it actually helps with the cramps :thumbs: My gyno told me this years ago.

Life long Texan, living in Hull, UK. How did this happen?

11 January - We met online and became friends

4 February - Became a couple

17 March - I went to Hull to meet the guy

20 March - First "I love you"

25 March - I go home :(

16 November - He comes to visit me in Texas

25 November - he leaves back home :(

14 December - ENGAGED! <3

1 March- I fly off to see my babe in Hull

4 April - I go home :(

9 October - He comes back to Texas!!!!

13 October - WEDDING!!!

22 October - He goes back to England and I continue to wait for my settlement visa.

13 December 2007 - Move to England

Now the wait begins, I will become a citizen then we will DFC back to the US.
