I-864 Questions

Hi all,

We are in the process of filling out our I864 forms and we are stuck on part 2 of the form where they ask for mailing address of the principal immigrant.

We are not able to fit the zipcode address or any of the fields properly as my wife is in India and the addresses there follow a different format down to the zipcode (6 digit zipcode compared to US 5).

How are we supposed to do this?

I saw some youtube videos (https://youtu.be/D5PFWZQdV0Q?t=173) wherein they said to put care of name as petitioner and put the petitioners address. Is this allowed?

Any help will be vastly appreciated!

Thanks

You can use the mailing address of a U.S. resident. However I am not buying this:

I just looked at the form

and postal code field in I-864 more than large enough for Indian addresses.

I have used the form and filled my beneficiary’s (principal immigrant) address in India and the PIN code (that is what zip code is called in India) without any issues. My form was accepted and has been deemed documentarily qualified.
