Kinda a silly question assuming I read the instruction on I485 correct but.. is the I485A needed ? I believe what I485 says is that if you're filing  based on a family visa (spouse after k1 included) then it is required, however other visa checklist websites don't show it as a requirement? Not sure if its a recent requirement.

What specifically do the instructions say that lead you to conclude I-485A is required for K-1s?

before I make myself appear more ignorant, can you explain what INA section 245(i) ?

I have tried googling it and it just make a little sense, I also think I read the instruction wrong. It is saying that IF you filing under those circumstances it is required that you have a visa category listed previously, one of them being family based. Not that is you fall under one of those categories you are filing under 245 (i)

Look at the DATES of the circumstances.

Did your K1 arrive over 23 years ago?
