2 month Tuberculosis Test 1 week before interview

Hello,

 

My Finace has their medical exam 1 week before her interview at the consulate. We were told that the Tuberculosis test takes 2 months to get the results. If that is true and everything is negative, will they not be issued the visa until the consulate has the results? Or will the ocnsulate issue the visa with the results pending?

Has she already had the medical exam?  If not, Maybe she won't need the sputum test.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
