N400 interview coming up with I-751 pending

Hi everyone, I've noticed a few threads in here where folks have their N400 scheduled even though they have an i-751 pending and it's the same for me coming up next week. I never mentioned in my N400 application (cover letter) that I have an I-751 pending, and I'll be sure to bring my US spouse. My understanding is that I should automatically have him go with me and try to see if they'll let us both enter, right? And in case they don't, he can hang out in the car and then I bring it up to the officer that I have a pending I-751? It was an online submission and I'm in Washington DC, so now I'm a little worried that they might only have my N400 and then it's another waiting game for the I-751, seeing as not all USCIS offices conduct combo interviews. If anyone has any experience in the DC field office, or even generally, it will be most appreciated!

Yes, you're right to bring your US citizen spouse to the interview. Yes, you are right, it may or may not be a combo interview. Yes, you are right it may be the case of waiting more after N-400 interview to get I-751 adjudicated. You will find out next week if you're all squared or need additional wait. Each case is unique and hard to predict what's going to happen.
