I want to ask if I can apply for vawa outside the U.S. I am married to U.S. citizen. I never travel to U.S. But my hasband work for one of the States (IL). He is State employee (not Federal). If I meet other requirements of vawa, do I meet requirement of hasband must be U.S. government employee for applying vawa outside the  U.S.? He works in U.S. He visit me often.

Please help.

I don't think you qualify.  He is not an employee of the US government.  That "He visits me often" statement might be an issue, too.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

You all very helpful. Thank you very much. One last question. When my hasband visit me sometime he stay with me more than 6 months and leave his job and apartment in U.S. I also has 1 year baby boy child with him. With these new information, do I qualify?

thank you so much.

No.  In fact, it looks even more like an invalid claim.

thank you so much.

I would report him to the police and file a report.  Have the courts issue a restraining order, or the equivalent in your country.

You have no immigration claim through him, unless he submits a petition for you.

But with the domestic violence, I would assume you would decline moving to his home in the US.

Stay safe.

I don’t think you have a firm grasp on what VAWA actually is.

If you just want a green card, why not have him petition you?

Nothing in the original post says anything about violence.

What would be the basis for a restraining order?

Which indicates that the OP might not understand that.  In fact, it seems the OP has a continuing relationship and living/visiting arrangement with the spouse.
