My wife's case was DQ'd on May 25th for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, still waiting on the Interview letter.

I'm based in Hong Kong but I contacted the US embassy here, they said it's all in the hands of the NVC

Finally got the Immigrant Visa Interview Appointment email for my wife, August 7th, 2023 at 7:20am in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Interesting though the interview letter does not seem to contain the US Consulate address in RJ.

On top of all the good news so far, I'm sharing mine to encourage all of you in the journey.

I received the IL (Interview Letter) from NVC via email this morning after what seems to be a long wait (I know it is not but that's what it felt to me). The interview is scheduled at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 01-Aug-2023.

@ZRomper Could you please help to correct the information of my journey as per below:

Congratulations!! I know what you mean, we have waited for 1.5 years just for USCIS approval, however waiting for the doctor's appointment and the interview feels like years now even though it's very quick compared to USCIS.

If it's been 2 weeks and all docs show as accepted and there's no DQ message in your mailbox, definitely file a Public Inquiry Form (state.gov)

Hey guys, sorry for a silly question, how do you know when DQ estimated date is? Does it get posted somewhere on the CAEC? Or have you gathered enough data through other people’s posts?

I am a late a June AOS filer (6/28/23) and was curious if I missed something.
