How can I go about using my savings in Lieu of earnings? This is for a I-130  Spousal Visa, from  Colombia to the United States, thank you all in advance!

You need to show proof of savings. The last 12 months of bank statements showing the amount. If the money is in a foreign account you'll need to indicate how much is in the bank in US dollars.

Proof of earnings or savings is NOT required for the I-130 petition.  It will be required for the I-864 affidavit of support to be submitted at NVC stage, after the I-130 has been approved.

Correct.  And, to understand how to use savings, become an A-Student of the I-864 instructions.  Do that ASAP, to avoid uncomfortable surprises.  Your savings will need to exceed three times the required income.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
