I agree! I love bamboo too. My favorite TV channel is HGTV..lol. Is the bamboo expensive? My house is pier and beam........it has the original flooring. Do you not like country music?

I like country music. Just never been a big Wynonna fan. I like some of her stuff, just not all of it. We got our bamboo from Lowe's and it was only $2.99 a sq/ft. It is solid bamboo, not manufactured stuff. We just happened to find it on sale at one of the stores around us. We went to 3 different ones in our area, all Lowe's, and it was only on sale at the one store. We snatched it up as soon as we figured it out, just in case it was a mistake.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome luck! I hope it turns out great and that you get it done in one day. Depending on how big room your room uis, the most of your time will be spent hauling your furniture out an dthen back in. The floor itself shouldn't take too long, especially since you have done it before.

Yeah, it shouldn't take too long. I think the worst is hauling that bed out. It's so heavy with the water in it, that we have to take all the tubes out before we can move it. Then we have about 10 water tubes laying around all over the place hoping they don't get busted. It's a mess.

Yeah, that's the best part. Not that we will ever sale our house. But, if we do, it's all ready to go. Javi has big plans to add a second story but I think I've all but squashed those. That's insane! He can't rip the roof off our house and build a new floor and new roof all by himself. That would take forever! No way am I having a house with no roof for weeks, possibly months.

No, not too bad. I do that sometimes. When I get into something really intently I don't like to get up and walk away from it. I like to finish it first so I don't have to come back to it.

Well, many people do add a second story to their home. I don't have a clue though so I won't offer any advice..lol Maybe he's thinking ahead for when the little ones are running around!

Hey Nessa, breaks are never lame!!!

It's just the kind of paperwork bureaucracy that if I left my desk I'd have to remember where I stopped, plus I really like to start something and finish and then take breaks or do something else, you know?

Hey Nessa, breaks are never lame!!!

Yeah, could be. Mostly I think it has to do with I built the house with my first husband so Javi wants to completely change it so it's basically a new house. He has issues with that.

If you don't mind me asking, where is your fiance from in Mexico?

Nessa: I know exactly what you mean. I deal with a lot of paperwork. It's much easier to finish what you started then to try and figure out where you left off.
