Congrats!! Were you asked about why you didn't apply for citizenship before?  I have had GC since 2010 as well so am wondering if I need to prepare for these kinds of questions as well.

Had my Interview today, super smooth and lasted less then 10 min.
- show ID, GC and passport.
- Read a sentence and write down another.
- 6 civic questions.
- some question from the N400 that I  answer NO to all (like part of organisation, training in arms, … etc)

- some question from the N400 that I answers YES to all (understand the oath, agree with constitution .. etc).
- took a picture.
I was approved on the spot and scheduled the ceremony for Tuesday 29th.

interview was at 12:30, I arrived at 12:15 and was a mistake from my part, there was a huge line since they are doing interviews and ceremonies all day today .. I had to speak to an agent to let me skip the line and get in on time for my Interview … so keep in mind  GO EARLY!!!

good luck to all.

Big congratulations to you. Did you have to take passport picture to your Oath Ceremony? What did they ask you to bring?

Thank you! Nope, they did not ask that. Nothing wrong with applying years later really lol. I was not in a rush. I have friends who applied later than me.

Thank you! Passport picture? Nope. I have my passport appointment in 10 days. For the Oath Ceremony, just bring: All the green cards you have, the oath ceremony letter, the form that comes with the letter (you have to fill it the same day of your oath before going to the ceremony) and your driver's license/state id. That was it.

Ceremony completed today, lasted around an hour. Finally done with USCIS.

A  Huge tremendous thank you to everyone in this Forum for all the help, experience sharing and guidance, it was priceless.

No words can give justice to how much I appreciate everyone here and wish you all the best.

Now dealing with department of state, seem passport is taking 10 months or something 🤪🤪

update based on my lawfully cohort data

- 247 in the cohort now

- 6 with confirmed decisions (all naturalizing)

- 88 with interview invites

- 94/247 = 38 % have gotten either a decision or an interview invite.

We're well on place for the majority(50 - 55 %) of all May filers to have gotten an interview invite by the end of July. And I will say 75 - 80 % should get one by the end of August.
