So guys, my Immigration journey that started January 20, 2017 with Form I-130 has now come to an end today with an issuance of a Certificate of Naturalization. I know it is not easy to navigate through USCIS processes and wait times. Best of luck to those still waiting for their interview and congrats in advance on your becoming US citizens. Thanks to you all for being here to provide support and information.

...do good and good will be done onto you...

Hi do you mind sharing what year did this misdemeanor happen? I have one from 2015. Filed under 3 year rule although I been a green card holder since 2012,  I’m a bit worry . Let us know when you have an update please .

Hello!

I just saw your message. My misdemeanor is from March 2005.  I retained an attorney to assist me with the green card application as well as the N-400 citizenship application.

My interview was on July 19th, and I’m still awaiting a decision.

Hello everyone,

My status changed to ceremony will be scheduled.  It states that a letter will be sent to me within 30 days with a date and time for the oath ceremony.

Here is my timeline:

-5/3: submitted N400 online (3 year rule -same sex marriage)

-Biometrics waived

-7/19: Interview at the Houston office - no instant approval, case needed to be reviewed
-8/23: We recommend that your Form N-400 be approved. Ceremony will be scheduled (no date yet)

Hi, my FO would be San Fernando Valley (Chatsworth).  I've noticed the same slowness. I'd have thought that a big state like Cali would have the resources to get things going but it seems so much slower than the other states!!    I've not heard back at all. Filed May 22nd and it's still actively reviewing.
