Received a biometrics appointment notice today, for 6/12

Read that you can try to walk in for biometrics. Didn't fly in Seattle ASC, but I went to a town 2 hrs away and the USCIS/ASC office there was pretty nice, everyone was so kind, and they took my biometrics today (aka two weeks earlier). Case status immediately changed to "case being actively reviewed"

Hi All, just submitted an online application. My case is complex because I needed to be out of the country for over a year.

Applied in the evening a short time earlier today and it says application received on May-31 (tomorrow?). Estimated time until case decision: 17 months.

I believe my local office will be St. Louis, MO.

EDIT: Receipt notice is available online and my office is listed as NBC, however, I am in Missouri, close to St. Louis.

EDIT 2: I see some biometrics re-used notes, what do you do to get that? (It would save me a trip)

Nothing to do for bio re-use, depends on USCIS if they have your pic and finger print and if they can use them or they need new one … though seem lot of folks were successful with a walk-in.

All naturalization cases are at NBC at the stages of receipt and biometrics. They get passed to a local office once your file gets sent there for an interview after the background check is complete.

You may get biometric reuse, I saw (here and on reddit) that people normally see it within a few hours of receipt, not everyone sees it right away.

You can attempt a walk-in (and still save 1-2 weeks compared to waiting for your bio appt) but only after you receive the biometrics notice; they won't be able to let you in and take your fingers without the barcode on biometrics notice. If your local office won't take you as a walk in, you can try the next day, or you can drive to another ASC center. At the biometrics stage, it really doesn't matter which office you go to since it gets sent to NBC.

2 minor updates.

1. I received 3x I-797C NOA in the mail today (in separate covers). They all say the same thing. Is this normal?

2. I checked online and it seems they booked me for a biometrics visit. Can I use that online letter (has a barcode) to drop in a ASC or do I need to wait for the letter in the mail?

I was able to use the online letter and submit my biometrics early. Case has changed to actively being reviewed.

May filler.

Checked the case tracker today and found an update! N400 Interview was scheduled and I should receive a letter with details in a few days. I have a pending 751, and I applied for N400 last month, so I'm assuming this will be a combo.
Please share any link that would help me gather documents and anything that could help to get prepared. Thanks!
