How is everyone receiving their EAD so quickly? Did you guys put in an expedite request?

I've been waiting since February and haven't heard anything since.

My case is held at national benefits center, is that why?

I really wanna start working and just wondering if there is any way to get my EAD soon....

All EADs are processed there.

Just want to report that my wife got her Green Card approved on September 12th.

For those curious, USCIS received our application on May 25th. So...

May 23rd - Sent AOS package

May 25th - USCIS received it

June 26th - Biometrics Appointment

June 26th - I-765 approved, received two weeks (ish) later

September 12th - I-485 approved

Now got to wait for citizenship in 3 years lol.

You'll have to apply to remove condition on the green card 3 months before its expiration, so you'll be dealing with immigration again on June 2025

Yeah, I saw that by June 2025 I will have to help her with the I-751 I think it's called. No biggie, thanks for the heads up.

Hi all, my wife and I are starting to wonder if our case is stuck and if what are next steps should be. Confusion is due to seeing on VJ that many applicants for AOS May 2023 have gotten EAD and AP approval while our timeline on USCIS says everything is progressing as normal.

MARCH 17, 2023: Entry in the US with K1 Visa

MARCH 23, 2023: Married

MAY 1, 2023: AOS+AP+EAD Packet Mailed

MAY 5, 2023: Biometrics Appointment

MAY 22, 2023: RFE

MAY 25, 2023: Response to RFE

JUNE 1, 2023: RFE Received

Haven't heard anything else since then.

We filed our paperwork for my husband's EAD card on May 16th, 2023, received approval on December 16th, 2023 and received his card on December 30th, 2023.  Our case progress shows that our AoS case should receive a decision in approximately 3 weeks (we filed on April 20th, 2023).  Hope that's helpful to others who are still waiting!

Hi everyone!

My wife filed for her Green Card back in May and received her EAD in a matter of months, but now we are in a holding pattern for everything else. We live in Middle Georgia and believe our processing site is in Atlanta. Is anyone in the Georgia area having any luck? I see others who processed their paperwork in May already receiving their Green Cards.

Atlanta takes about 19 months for 80% of cases as of today

So, on my wife's USCIS website account, it says that the I-130 "Petition for Alien Relative" and the I-485 "Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status" have both been approved and the approval notice is in the mail. It also says, "Please follow the instructions in your notice." What are these instructions? Does this mean that she will be receiving her Green Card and that we do not have to go through the interview process?

Did she end up getting GC?

She should receive it soon if both petitions got approved.
