Invalid Docs on NVC

Just looking for some other people’s experience with invalid documents on NVC portal. 
 

When you’ve reuploaded the documents, how long did it take to have them accepted? Like was it somewhat quickly because they have already reviewed your application, or does it go to the bottom of the pile again??

Back when we got an NVC checklist (RFE), it took them 12 weeks to review the documents.  It sent us to the back of the line.  That was few years ago.  Our case spent 24 weeks at NVC.

"The US immigration process requires a great deal of knowledge, planning, time, patience, and a significant amount of money.  It is quite a journey!"

- Some old child of the 50's & 60's on his laptop 

 

Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

 It goes to the bottom of the pile again. This happened to us few weeks back. 

USCIS 

10/02/2022 - Submitted I-130

10/02/2022 - NOA1 (California Service Center) 

10/10/2022 - Sent K-3 Packet

10/17/2022 - K-3 Receipt Notice

03/19/2023 - Status Update (Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS)

03/20/2023 - Approved (NOA2)

03/24/2023 - Status Update (Case was sent to the Department of State)

 

NVC

04/01/2023 Welcome Email

04/01/2023 Paid Fees

04/05/2023 Submitted AOS and Civil Documents

04/19/2023 Documentarily Qualified

Yep, considering the current NVC processing time, you will hear back in 2 weeks time.
