Hi All,

I just received my case number NOA2: 23/05.
But we got it in a strange way; we were talking to USCIS about a minor issue with the approval notice, and in their response, they gave us our NVC case number before NVC had contacted us directly lol. I'm going to send another inquiry soon and see what they say, but I checked the case # on NVC and it says "at NVC," so I'm not sure how long we'll have to wait until it gets to the embassy; I'll ask our attorneys, but I'm not complaining lmfao.

Hi,

Just an update, my fiancee got an email this morning from NVC saying our case was sent to the embassey and our status is now in tranist!!!

Hey all,

I just wanted to first thank everyone on here for being such an involved and helpful community! After 15 long months of waiting, our case has finally gotten a case number and is in transit to the embassy! However, I have a question that I can’t seem to find the answer to. A little background info about my case:

NOA1: 04/08/2022

NOA2: 05/18/2023

NVC Case Number: 08/02/2023 (today!)

Case Status: In Transit

Now onto my question: When are we supposed to send the affidavit of support, I-134, to the NVC for processing? Is this part of the DS-160 application, or do we have to schedule an interview before we send over the rest of the supporting documents?

Thanks for all your help and information; you all have made this process much easier!

NOA2:5/19

Third time inquiry and they responded " Your petition is now waiting for data entry into our systems."

when should i do forth time inquiry ? should i wait for one more week  ?

thanks.

They take about a week to respond. I did one every week after day 50. Now that you know they have it, you can ask for your case number. :)

@LindaBurke Hello. I just saw your profile name on one of the posts. I used to date a girl in high school named Linda Burke. How ironic. :)
