MAY 2023 K1 to NOA2 to NVC to EMBASSY

Nobody truly knows what is going on but one thing is true. They are not kidding around when they say to wait 90 days. It is the most discouraging thing to hear when we have been waiting over a year.

Agreed. The visa service i hired told me to expect at least 90 days but its still very discouraging.

Hi everyone, just to let you know that after inquiring again at NVC this week they confirmed our petiton is about to be entered into their system.

From what we heard from uscis it looks like they received it at about 42 days after NOA2. (NOA2 on 8 May)

Hopefully it will be sent to the Paris embassy very soon! crossing fingers again and wishing everyone luck !!

Such great news! Getting so fast! I was not ready for this haha congratulations!

 

On the other hand, I think I will need to wait until after the holiday to know about my petition. My public form inquiry on Monday was replied to today, but the reply talked about adoption and asking for certificates of adoption… I have no idea why, someone totally mixed up my case with another. I provided everything correctly plus the notice 🤡 Anyway, I’ll just submit another next week. Keep trying everyone!

Very strange, must be à mistake. If I were you, I would send an inquiry to the NVC research email. :)

The NVC said: "Your petition is now waiting for data entry into our systems" 😯. Is that mean the long wait is over? How long does it usually take them to transfer my case to the embassy? Thanks.

I emailed the NVC last week and got a response today. It it legit? or it is one of those email to keep us from bugging them?

Our NOA2 is 15th May.

Yay! I finally got a bit of good news. It makes me feel better knowing they at least have my petition.

Definitely a lot of contradiction going on at NVC.

 

May 3rd - K1 Approved

June 5th - ASKNVC Inquiry sent through site.

June 9th - ASKNVC inquiry responded that they hadn't received case and to wait 60 days

June 15th - USCIS statedpetitionn has already left USCIS and should be with NVC.

June 27th - ASKNVC Inquiry sent through NVC site and Email sent to NVC Research email address.

June 28th - NVC research stated that they received the case and just waiting for entry into system.

July 3rd - NVC Inquiry responded to June 27th request and stated that they have not received our case yet.

 

Not sure what's real anymore.

I have tried calling USCIS #1(800)375-5283 and 1(212)620-3418 but both was a recording machine. Anyone knows other number besides these so I can talk to a live agent?
