Rest assure it is.. I was doing twice a week.. each time i got an update.. and then at 80 day mark my number..( Some people waited over 100 days..) out of sight out of mind.. Trust me it does not hurt.. ( you have to remember.. you are paying for an service ) Companies only do what their customers allow them to do.. that includes the US GOV.

I could not agree more, and like I said, it is already à long and stressful process, and it's the only way we have to contact them

... no phone line anymore ....

Well, said. You are absolutely right.

Were you contacting asknvc@state.gov or nvcresearch@state.gov ?

Agreed with you all. Also they’re using contractors to answer our inquiries. Wonder how truthful these people are. We have no way to verify their responses to us.

Has anyone know which part of the process we get to receive our nvc number. Is it during case file creation time or case review time.

There are differing thoughts on this. However, folks my Fiancé has spoken with who have gone through the Philippine/USA K1 process recently say the notice was sent by email to the petitioner when the case had been created/approved and sent to the embassy in Manila. You can also get your case number by NVC public inquiry.

If you check out  Feb. noa2, their nvc received only took just over a month. But  on march and beyond with noa2,  it became two months for their nvc received.

So February and earlier are the lucky ones.

I wonder what made the big jump.

So after getting your case number, do we wait for the case status to change to "READY" or we can go ahead and book an interview date right after getting the case number

Wait until it's ready – it means that it reached your embassy. Some embassies don't like you scheduling interviews without instructions from them, so check on that too.

I heard from both NVC ResearchGate and AskNVC that they just recently received my petition.

NOA2 date: June 7, 2023

I don't know if this helps anyone when looking at their own timeline.

Lots of April NOA2 date cases are getting shipped to Embassy.  Any May NOA2 got the good news?

Soooo many Aprils! Haven't seen any Mays. We'll see about tomorrow too.
I sure hope we see a big wave of shipment for us in the next shipment week (August 1st).

I emailed NVCResearch on Sunday and was told today that I should use the public inquiry form 🥲. It's so inconsistent lol.

Someone I know from late April just received their NVC case number, so hopefully we'll be seeing more May cases getting theirs too!
