Exactly my friend. We should be very happy because we didn't wait an extra month. Right now I would like to send an email to NVCinquiry@state.gov and ask if they received our packet from USCIS.

What exactly should I put in the email?

Also, I just reread my NOA2 and there are important details of what to include in the email, once it’s time to inquire. See the smaller print on the notice, that should help.

anyone started filing out your I-134 yet? its confusing

I started mine and read through a couple of other posts on this site for some direction, in addition to the form instructions PDF. Though, also worth flagging that the current edition of the form expires at the end of July.
Based on the current NVC timelines I don’t think we will realistically have his interview until early August. So while I filled out the form, I’ve made a note to myself that I need to transfer it to the new edition of the I-134 form, once it’s available.
Just sharing that in case it’s helpful.

Mine has an expiration too, though mine is 4 months. I don’t have an official source or the links on hand that I read, but I read a couple of threads that said the consulate can extend it up to a certain period. From those other posts, people said you don’t have to do anything additional and they should extend it at your interview, but again, I don’t have an official source on that. 😕

It's normal to have an expiration date. What isn't normal is us having to wait month and a half or more for our documents to get transferred to NVC
