Hi everyone. We just got Sheryl's biometrics appointment letter. It's scheduled for 8/11/07, which is a Saturday. Has anyone ever had biometrics on a Saturday? I really can't believe they would be open and I'm wondering if this is a mistake. :huh:

No. it's not by mistake . i got touch on my case sometimes on Saturday ! but to make and dont stop urself calling them to make sure 100% otherwise if they got mistake that mean u cant blame them lol so they will give u another appointment and to wait for that appointment it will take forever lol

Joke with ya . but as i said i got touch sometimes on Saturday.. dont forget call them .

10/25/2010: Request for evidence recieved "Biometrics Notice".

11/18/2010: Biometrics date ==> 11:00AM. Biometrics was taken On time.

12/03/2010: "Yellow Letter" Received.

12/06/2010: "Touch" Case Moved to "Testing and Interview".

12/08/2010: Interview Letter received via mail.

01/13/2011: Interview Date. Done, " Thanks To ALLAH, I Passed the Test.

01/18/2011: Oath Letter was Sent.

01/20/2011: Oath Letter Recieved via mail.

01/28/2011: Oath Date. ==> Done, I am a U.S. Citizen

01/31/2011: Applied for a U.S. Passport Book, And, U.S. Passport Card.

02/25/2011: Passport Book's Received.

02/26/2011: Passport Card's Received.

02/28/2011: Certificate Of Naturalization's Returned.

The office for doing Biometrics is open for business on Saturdays here.

Don't know is others up there in America are tho!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

My wife got her appointment on Saturday. We were in and out within 30 min. So don't worry. Make sure your bring your appointment Letter and her Passport.

My K1 Time Line

AOS Quest: Completed :=)

06-08-2007: AOS Package Sent

06-12-2007: AOS Package Recieved

06-19-2007: Check Cashed

06-22-2007: NOA1 in the Mail

06-26-2007: Biometrics Appoinment Received 7-14-2007

07-14-2007: Biometrics Appointment

10-29-2007: AOS interview - still need to wait for FBI name check.

02-27-2008: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident

02-28-2008: Card production ordered

03-04-2008: Approval notice sent

03-07-2008: Green Card received

05-07-2008: California ID received (took almost a year to get it)

July 15, 2009- CSC sent back my papers saying its too early for 90 days expiration

July 16, 2009- Resend my papers 85 days before GC expired

July 18, 2009- Arrived at CSC-10:53 am

July 22, 2009- Cashed Check

July 27, 2009- NOA 1 recieved

July 31, 2009- Biometric Notice Recieved

Aug 18, 2009- Biometric Schedule

Sep 03, 2009- Card Production ordered

Hi Dean iWait...mine was done on a Saturday too. Don't worry, they are open on Saturdays, they normally start at 10:00 am.....Wow! god bless on your application. Hope Sheryl's ok now....it was a long wait for both of us.....Give my regards to her ok?

Biometrics are taken at ASC facility & usually opens from Mon-Sat. USCIS offices on the other hand are closed on Sat.

Yes, I was afraid of the same thing, especially I am very suspisious on everything now (try to wait for over five years!), but yes, they are open on Saturdays according to 800 line.

Does biometrics mean fingerprints or something else as well? When I got mine in 1999, it called fingerprints.
