Got RFE about i-486 form after 6 months, do I need to also submit new photos and other attachments

The RFE I got is generic on form version and finance. While I resubmit all the required materials, should I also re-attach my newest photos, given it has been 6 months since submission?

On a similar note, should I re-submit birth certificate etc that goes with the form requirements? Thank you very much.

Thank you for your reply. Please see the RFE contents below:

Submit a properly completed and signed Form I-485. All pages must be present and of the latest edition date. The latest edition of Form I-485 can be found at the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov

  • You have submitted Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, from the petitioning sponsor, xxxxxx. We are unable to process the I-864 because it has one or more deficiencies. In order for us to process your application further, you must:
    • Submit a completed and signed Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, from the petitioning sponsor. All pages must be present and of the latest edition date.
    • Provide the petitioning sponsor's Social Security Number on Form I-864.
    • Provide a complete and correctly calculated household size for the petitioning sponsor on Form I-864
    • Submit a complete copy of the petitioning sponsor's Federal income tax return, including all supporting tax documents (W-2s, 1099s, Form 2555, and tax schedules) filed with the return, for the most recent tax year.

For further instructions and the latest edition of Form I-864, visit the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov. See Specific Instructions and Specific Requirements listed in the Form I-864 instructions for the complete information.

  • You have submitted one or more Form(s) I-864A, Contract Between Sponsor and Household Member, with the petitioning sponsor's Form I-864, Affidavit of Support. However, we are unable to process the I-864 because it has one or more deficiencies.  In order for us to process your application further, you must submit:
    • A completed and signed Form I-864A for each qualifying household member whose income is being used to meet the poverty guideline. The Form(s) I-864A must be signed by the petitioning sponsor, xxxxxxx, and the household member. All pages must be present and of the latest edition date.
    • A copy of the household member(s) Federal income tax return for the most recent year
    • A copy of the household member(s) supporting tax documents (W-2s, 1099s, Form 2555, and tax schedules) that you filed with your Federal income tax return

@LucyF looks like problems with affidavit of support. Did you submit it? Was it latest edition? Did all the pages print ok including barcode at the bottom of every page? Did you provide all the information? Did you include latest tax return transcript?

Hi @OldUser You are bringing really good points, but yeah I checked these are all good... the only suspicion I had was that I had to hand fill some contents due to Adobe not working right, and hand filling not changing barcode...

Hi @Rocio0010 thank you for your reply. I am planning to just send in the asked docs. However my husband gave USCIS hotline a call and the rep there told us we should re-send in photos and copies of birth certificates too...

You feel free to do what you think is best. However, the rep that was on the call is a Tier 1 agent that knows nothing about your case, and they shouldn't be giving advice.
