Tax transcript not enough?

Help will be appreciated, we don't know how to proceed. We are at the last phase of IR5 immediate relative visa. NVC approved all the civil documents the I864  etc, but we are stuck with the proof of income. We presented the Tax transcript showing income almost 10 times de minimum requirement. But  they keep copying/pasting the same answer. “Please submit x's Evidence of Income. For more information, visit nvc.state.gov/fin.”

Are the transcript by themselves not enough proof anymore? Do they need to be certified by the IRS or something? thanks

Tax transcripts ARE NOT evidence of current income, it is evidence of PAST income. NVC is correct - you need to submit evidence of CURRENT income which can be evidenced by recent pay stubs and/or employment letter.

yes I have. I just realized that the NVC response was on April 20th. I was providing 2021 tax transcript. Since it was after April 15th, could it be they are expecting 2022 transcripts?

In my case nvc is asking for the W-2

/1099 of the joint sponsor for 2021 in addition to transcript because joint sponsor filed the tax return with his spouse although spouse has zero income.

self-employed, entrepreneur, no pay stubs, no employer. Would presenting transcript of the last 5 years help?

From the I-864 form instructions -- https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-864instr.pdf

"If you selected Part 6., Item Number 2. that you are self-employed, you should have completed one of the following forms with your Federal income tax return: Schedule C (Profit or Loss from Business), Schedule D (Capital Gains), Schedule E (Supplemental Income or Loss), or Schedule F (Profit or Loss from Farming). You must include each and every Form 1040 Schedule, if any, that you filed with your Federal income tax return."
