Good Day ... I would like to ask if anyone knows the phone number to reach the USCIS office to Los Angeles? We were notified that our case was transferred to the USCIS office in room 1001, 300 North Los Angeles, CA 90012. However, we haven't received any notice that the Los Angeles office received it. We would like to call that office and verify if they already received our AOS file but we don't know what number to call. Help if anyone knows the number where to reach them.

at least in our case, it took a month for cali to say "we got it"

they dont send a paper, but if you can check online, it would say "case recieved"

but you have to wait (again, n more yet)

I would like to ask - how long did it take from the time that they received it to the time of your scheduled interview? (do they still interview or don't interview you anymore?)

We filed our case last Sept. 2006 and I got biometrics last year too but then I think they lost our file so we had to call our representative and ask for help. I don't what did it - the representaative or my constant call to the uscis, but I was scheduled for another biometrics last June 2007. Now I receive this letter from them that my file go transferred to Los Angeles.

We do not know what to expect because last year we file it in Chicago (the address written in the form) and then we were notified that it was transferred to Laguna Niguel. Then it got stuck I guess. Now, we are again told that it has been transferred to Los Angeles. We don't know what time should we use to calculate for the processing time - last year when we file it or this year when we got our biometrics?........

I am about to give birth anytime soon and we are concerned that they might call us for an interview during the day that I will be giving birth.

what are we suppose to assume given the status of our case????????????

They don't call you for an interview, they mail you a letter stating the date and time of interview, that letter gives you info on how to reschedule the interview id that is needed to be done.
