Time for NVC to receive case from USCIS

Hello everyone

My fiancé and I got our i-129F approved in februrary and got our I-797 a few weeks after that,  but has yet to receive a notice from NVC that they have received our case from USCIS.

I've contacted them twice and they just confirmed today they still haven't received anything from USCIS. Is there anything that has a rough estimate on how long it takes for USCIS to do anything as this is extremely frustrating.

Thanks in advance

It's been 41 days since we received our NOA2 as well. The current time frame as per USCIS and NVC is 60 -90 days . I wonder what's taking them so long 😕.. whats your NOA2 date?

Yeah we hit the 60 day breakpoint Monday this week. Our NOA2 date is Feb 17th. Really frustrating as we’ve triple checked all our documents and requirements and we’re like 99% everything is in order for us to get me my visa. Just waiting around for processing times

We got our NOA2 for our K1 and after that it was 96 days of silence from NVC until they sent us a notice that our case had been forwarded to the embassy.

Be patient. Once the embassy received our petition things moved quite rapidly.

96days !!! 💔 After waiting for 14 months for an approval another wait of 3 months just for your case to be entered in the system is just crazy.. Hopefully we hear soon 🙏..

We're at 83 days since our NOA2 Feb 1 and still no news that NVC has received our petition.

Have you tried emailing them your approval notice after 60 days?

It’s been 48 days since my approval and NVC hasn’t received my petition either. Every time I make an inquiry they send me the same generic response. I am just waiting until it’s 60 days so I can email them the the notice of approval so they can request my petition from USCIS.
Have you tried contacting USCIS and inquiring why they haven’t sent your petition to NVC?

We have contacted both USCIS and NVC and got the usual generic responses. We also called USCIS and managed to speak to a human but found out after he was just a tier 1 operative i.e. just answers queries from a check list of answers in front of him. We should have asked to go to tier 2 but it's unlikely that would have worked because we are still within the 90 day period. We finally got a response from NVC with a request for a copy of our 797. NVC are now supposedly asking USCIS where our petition is. There is the usual 30 day wait before we can progress with further inquiries.
In addition to all of this we have contacted our local politician in SC who has also put a request in to USCIS. But again there is the 30 day waiting period!

Is the wait time 90 days now?

The response that I got from NVC mentioned that if I don’t hear from NVC within 60 days of approval, then I can send them my approval notice.
When I called USCIS they also told me the same thing, to call back after 60 days so they can submit a service request for me.
I really hope you hear from them soon! 83 days is a long time to wait…..

The wait time quoted depends on which way you do the inquiry from what I can see. The automated responses mention 30 to 60 days. The more personalized mention that 3o to 60 days are quoted but it's now more like 90 days.
