Thank you! That is very good to know. At least that gives me some options, tho going through H1B is probably also a lengthy process for my employer!

It is but it won't work for the fellowship in question.

Try presenting expedite as in the interest of NIH..so read through slowly the USCIS criteria for non-profits or government interest expedites…and the importance of your specific role .

 

Although NIH has guidelines of letters they can write for USCIS…they will give you a letter ..who knows

Thanks for these! I unfortunately don't think NIH will give me a letter for non NIH employment, but thank you for the suggestion.
