I-131 Part4. Information about Your Proposed travel

I would like to file I-131 because my parents are old and I worry just in case they got sick or  they are hospitalized, etc.

Instruction of the Form 1-131 says I must provide "Documentation of a family member’s serious illness or death." in Part 4.

What should I provide if my parents are currently not seriously ill  and I don't have documataion from a medical doctor ?

Thanks.

Note the "or" in the form instructions.  If you are an AOS applicant, no need to provide documentation on the purpose of travel.  It's ok to enter "TBD" for part 4 of the I-131 form.

Some applicants like DACA have to come up with a valid reason you do not

As mentioned, you can leave Part 4 blank if you do not have immediate travel plans.

For our I-131, Part 4, 1.a, we listed "no current planned travels", and 1.b, we listed in a few countries including my foreign spouse home country as potential travels.

For Part 7, #1 you can mark "More than one trip", and add a separate sheet of paper explaining that you have elderly parents.

For our I-131, we added a Part 7 separate sheet including names of the elderly relatives and pics of their foreign ids who are potential "humanitarian reasons" to travel outside of the country for my foreign spouse.

And surprisingly, that Part 7 separate sheet was a document uploaded by USCIS to our USCIS account under the I-131 application document section.

I don't know if that made any difference, but if you go see our Profile or Timeline, you will see that we got the EAD/AP combo card after doing an I-765 expedite.
