My wife and I were married on the k1 visa. Before her k1 visa interview she did her medical in the Philippines. That was almost a year ago. She now has her appointment for her green card interview in late May. Of course I have to go as well and it will be at the uscis in Norfolk va. I'm confused about the i693 medical. Does she have to do this again or is she ok with the one she already did. My lawyer said that it was already submitted when she arrived in the US so she is fine and the medical i693 is good for 2 years. Is this a true fact? I want to be sure. She arrived in the US back in June of last year.

There is a current discussion of I-693 already at

Maybe that will be helpful?
