Hey guys, today I received two notifications.

Little backstory: Husband and I went the concurrent filing route when we got married (October) and submitted the i-130, i-485 and all the other ones in November for the AOS process.

Well, today I wake up to see that the i-485 was updated to 'Case Approved' but the i-130 was barely updated to 'Case Is Being Actively Reviewed' status. This doesn't really make sense to me, I know theyre two different petitions but assumed they would both be looked at together? Any knowledge, insight, advice is appreciated.

This is good news, right?

The I-485 cannot be approved as a stand-alone.  The I-130 was the basis for the adjustment.  Thus, it will be updated to "approved".

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Thank you for the response! I assumed as much, just found it odd they both updated in the manner they did. Is it safe to assume this means this was all approved then? We haven’t interviewed or received anything in the mail yet, though. I’ll just have to wait and see.

Yep, congratulations!

You likely won't end up getting an interview at this point, but the green card takes about a week (business days) to arrive. It's possible you may get asked to do biometrics if you haven't done so in this process already.

Did everything work out for you at the end? I am having a similar story and want to make sure everything is going to be ok

the op has not been on this site for 1.5 years, so the likelihood of an answer is quite small.
