Hi, my f3 immigration priority date just became current (dec 2008). I was DQed nov 2020. I received email from nvc stating next interview will be setup in Montreal (I am Canadian citizen). Can people shed some insight on how long am I looking at before I get an interview date?

Same here, so what is with the Montreal consulate stating this:

Your PD only just became current though. So you have only just been added to the queue for an interview.

I understand, but the Montreal consulate stated that DQ cases of Dec 2022 are scheduled for an interview which is not proper unless the argument is the word " most cases"!

The key bit is 'with visa numbers available'. You didn't have a visa number available until your PD became current.

Don't understand then why Montreal Consulate states that Family Preference scheduled for interview are the ones that were DQ in April 2023. Your sister is lucky for getting interviewed in India as they might have a lot bigger backlog in India compared to Canada. Even though case remains at NVC until interview is scheduled, have you ever thought of reaching out to Motreal Consulate?
