Problems filling out forms with Adobe Acrobat and other apps

I notice that on certain fields I'm unable to type anything. For example I am filling out form I-864, and in this box circled in red, I cannot type in anything. This is not the only part where I encounter problems like this. I have tried updating to the latest version of Adobe Acrobat, and also tried filling the form out on my MacBook Pro using both Preview.app and Adobe Acrobat as well and experience the exact same problem. Anyone else know why this is happening and how to fix it?

Page 3, Last Question HAS TO BE 1 for your immigrant.

I have filled out part 3 - 29 and put in "1" already though. Same for those other boxes. I can't enter in a value at all for it to autosum the total amount.

Write it in pen. It happened to me too, I printed out, wrote it pen. No issue, I never got RFE

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Preview lets you add text fields.

Dont use yor internet browser when filling it out....use Adobe Acrobat reader download it and use this to fill it up i had the same issue but when filling up mine with internet explorer

I am using the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader though.
