No.  Get another I-551 stamp.  You may now request one to be mailed to you, instead of having to go to a USCIS office you get the stamp in your passport.

Hi, I have received my 48 months extension letter but my conditional green card was lost and I had a I-551 stamp in my passport but that expired too. My question is  can I travel outside of USA with just my extension letter?

Nope.  You need another ADIT stamp.

Good afternoon all, I am trying to understand the process of RoC.  Please correct me if I am wrong.

After filing an I-751, you will receive a 48 months extension letter which serves as proof of permanent residency for work or travel for 4 year from the expiration of the old card. If it gets close to the end of the 4 year and the application is still pending, or you lose the letter, you can go in and get an I-551 stamp which will do the same thing.

Thank you all.
