Line 22 for income level

I know this topic came up before but I am trying to make sure I understand this right. For i-134 and i-186 we need to reach a certain amount and I saw for self employed people, we are supposed to take that number from line 22. Now I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right line but it says: "22 Subtract line 21 from line 18. If zero or less, enter -0- . . ." and then a very small number in the end. My adjusted gross income is the number I thought needs to reach the threshold.

Anyone? Am I looking at the wrong line 22? This is on my 1040.

I assume you have claimed a lot of expenses.

For those who are self employed, you cannot use AGI.  You need to use total income: gross income minus expenses.

If it's below the minimum per your household size, you will need to get a joint sponsor.
