The insurance person decided not to mention the elephant in the room.  If it was just accidents and natural disasters, I expect they could deal with it.  I believe there is an uptick in property damage in some of the likely locations.  I have a friend in AZ that sometimes does some work in San Fran.  He will not take his personal vehicle there and always rents a vehicle.
