Normal CR1 or/and DCF with exceptional circumstances

Hi everyone! There's a lot of very helpful people here so I was hoping that someone could kindly share some advise.

Me and my wife are planning to move to the US (she is the US citizen) in January once her 2 year graduate visa has expired here in the UK. Since graduating from her masters in the UK she has been working at a nursery/primary school and wants to complete her teaching qualifications in the USA given the massive teacher shortage.

Should we go down the typical CR1 process and file the I-130 now and submit ourselves to the inevitable 18 months wait?

Or alternatively, since my wife will be getting a job before moving back, either in a nursery while she completes the initial teacher training or as an admin assistant/secretary, should we wait for a job offer and file for DCF with exceptional circumstances (job relocation) to make the process much quicker?

Finally, are we able to file the I-130 now through the normal route, and then apply for DCF with exceptional circumstances later? Would this have an impact on us getting accepted?

Really appreciate any advise/comments here!

Thanks in advance

It is really up to you.  You can try the DCF route but you will have to wait until your wife has her job offer and firm start date before requesting the consulate to accept the I130.

Once the I 130 is filed then DCF is not available.
