Bio waived for ROC but Bio request for N400?

I submitted my N400 around 5 weeks ago under the 3 year rule, meanwhile I had a ROC case that had not moved since July 2021.

I have had a notice saying my ROC biometrics are to be used and the online status is shown as "fingerprints taken"

I have received a separate notice on my n400 for a biometric appointment in a weeks time. Is this normal?

Nothing odd about my case, married still together etc.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

With my AOS I seem to remember attending the bio early as a walk in prior to the date.

Am I able to do the same with the n400 bio?
