How long have you been waiting for the N-400 interview?

I keep seeing posts here from everyone getting approved so quickly after filing and it's really disheartening. I know it's just bias because the people that get approved insanely quick (weeks to a few months) are the only ones posting.

Would be great to hear from others who have been waiting for a longer time too. So, how long have you been waiting for the interview?

I filed in early November 2022, been waiting for a combo I-751 and N-400 interview for 5+ months. I-751 filed Nov 2021. Santa Ana FO. I know it's not terribly long, but it's also not as quick as all the posts I'm seeing here led me to believe.

I don't know what drives the quicker or slower interview times, could be a Field Office thing or the type of application maybe (combo vs single).

I filed Jan 17, received interview notice in my USCIS online, March 27 for a May 2nd interview. I filed N400 only and my FO is Denver.

Keep the faith, it will happen.

I-751 Application - Nov 26, 2012.
NOA - Nov 27, 2012.
Bio Appointment Dec 31, 2012.
New Appointment Jan 8, 2013.

I-751 Removal of Conditions - Approved May 28 2013

Green Card Production notice - June 13 2013

Green Card Received - June 20, 2013

Citizenship Application - January 17, 2023

Any news from Santa Ana about your interview yet? I filed in January, also at Santa Ana and also still waiting...

Nope, still patiently waiting. A few days from hitting the 6 month mark. Let me know if you hear anything! There's very limited info I can find on Santa Ana, but it seems people usually don't wait this long, so I'm starting to think I'll be waiting for a very long time, probably because I applied under the 3 year rule. Are you also expecting a combo interview, or did you apply under the 5yr rule? Those seem to be moving faster at Santa Ana.

Oh no! I'm so sorry! Here I am waiting at 3 months, waiting impatiently... and you're already waiting 6 months. Hang in there! Hopefully you get the interview invite any day. I applied under the 5 year rule, no combo interview. From my research, most people get the interview invite at 4 months, interview at 5 months.

I have been waiting for 9 months. In January they scheduled a interview for March. But they canceled the interview a few days after scheduling it due to “unforeseen circumstances”. I have been waiting for a new interview date since the last 2.5 months. Chicago field office.
