He can certainly apply for a Student Visa, now getting one is another issue so not something to be assumed.

I think you've misunderstood what Mike E has said. See all the answers already given to this question above.

This is the second time you have asked that question.

 

No i never suggested that. Nor would the student visa  be approved.

 

Parents can be file for re-entry permits to be with their son until he reaches age 18.
