Quick update on Dad's progress -- he has now received his oath letter in the regular mail. Still waiting for Mom's status to update and starting to get worried -- her case was tracking completely synchronously with my dad's, but now it has been over a week since Dad's ceremony was scheduled with no movement.

I just filed in July and of course antsy. Just curious for you guys that filed a few months ago, it looks like some already had interviews. Based on when you filed, and the aprox automated time line you get vs how long it took to get an interview appointment, has it been significantly faster for some of you guys?

For reference mine says aprox 9 month. But from the frew things ive read my field office might be decently quick.

10/12/2017 | Married! (L)

10/30/2017 | I-130 Package sent via UPS to USCIS. Was initially going to do consular processing.

11/06/2017 | NOA1 Priority Date Nov 6, 2017

12/06/2017 | AOS package sent (EAD, and AP as well). I decided to do concurrent filing/ AOS instead of consular processing. The lawyer I consulted scared me initially about AOS and that concurrent is more a sure thing, but I already work here in US under TN and did not enter with intent to marry.

12/11/2017 | AOS package received and received NOA1 for them all about a week later

12/30/2017 | Biometrics Appointment letter received

01/08/2018 | Biometrics Appointment

01/12/2018 | RFE Received. (I forgot to have my husband sign the affidavit of support. Seriously OMG. I looked everything over 20 times.) Mailed the signed page back 01/13/2018.

01/25//2018 | RFE received. Case update says they will now continue reviewing my case. I was worried I would be sent to back of the line because of the RFE, but it didnt because 6 days later it changed to ready to interview!

01/31/2018 | Online- "case is ready to be scheduled!" Yipee!

02/10/2018 Online case update Interview date May 1!!!!

We have had the best possible news today -- Mom's online status changed this morning to "Oath Ceremony Notice Was Mailed!" We did contact our congressional Representative's office, which most likely got the scheduling "unstuck!" She also wrote a letter to the District Director to request that her ceremony be scheduled on the same day as Dad's. Now, it's waiting less than 2 weeks until their ceremony date -- we're on the home stretch of this journey!!! 🙂

Had my interview, fairly straightforward and recommended for approval; the outstanding removal of conditional application was also adjudicated although that hasn't updated on the USCIS portal. No requests for new documentation. Now waiting for Oath Ceremony to be scheduled; Case Officer suggested the scheduling should happen within 3 weeks and then we'll see how far into the future the actual ceremony is.

Biometrics reused

Case actively reviewing status since 5/3/2023

Nashville field office

Permanent resident since Nov 2015

STILL No movement on my case ever since it went under review in May.

It's frustrating but i will just have to wait.

It seems like other filed offices processing times are mostly 6-8 months and they get them done in 3-6 months, my local field office however has 12.5 months of processing time so i feel like I won't see any update till October or November. Just hoping my vacation next year April doesn't get affected.
