Not too late to send in the I-129F, rate goes up Monday July 30 so do it this week ASAP.

Another thing to consider, with the rate increase next Monday AOS from K-3 will cost $1010, along with the $170 paid for the I-129F adds up to quite a lot for the K-3, if you continue with the CR-1 you will pay much lower fees at NVC and the embassy, and will get green-card upon entry to the USA. The CR-1 has been taking only a few weeks longer than K-3 to process.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Additionally, filing the I-129F for K3 now will pretty much lock you into K3 and stop any chance of a CR1 visa. You'll want to take a long hard look at whether to file the I-129F at all.
