Will different spelling of my mother's name in my birth certificate and her ID card case any issues?

My mother's name on my birth certificate is "Shehnaz" while on her ID card its "Shahnaz". I am going to apply CR1. Will my mom's ID card will ever be asked during whole process? If it does, will it cause any problem?

write is as on birth certificate 

and put the other spelling in "other names used " like on ID

then u are covered

Did you have direct experience with this working out ok? I was actually wondering this, too, because my husband’s mother’s name is also off by one letter on his birth certificate!

i have not but instructions say to post all other names used even if u corrected the national ID card,  u would need to put the other name on the petition as it was once used by the person
