Notice Letter not showing on my USCIS profile but arriving in mail. What it might be about?

Hi everyone,

I filed for I-751 in February and recived some weeks ago a notice letter stating I will not have to retake fingerprints. I also received the extention letter. This morning I received an email from USPS saying they're delivering another notice letter tomorrow.

The notice is dated March 29,  yet if I check on my USCIS profile, no updates show up on my case. What this notice might be about? Is it possible to be a Request For Evidence yet only after a month from filing?

This is 99% a 48 month extension letter.

Usually no status update is associated with it.

Sorry, I forgot to mention. I already received the extention letter 2 weeks after filing.

Did you get a 48 month or 24 month extension letter.

Do you see a water mark of the statue of liberty in pic?

The thing is, even recent filers who got their original 48 month extension letter after filing I-751 receive another 48 month extension letter. I observed it in a different thread, it appears to be a common case. Nothing to worry about, @TravelingLilly, you'd have 2 copies. One you can take with you when going abroad and another store in a safe place.

Ok, that strange to hear. I wish it was already the approval for removal of condition!

Well, if it is the approval it would be beyond impressive!

I do agree with @OldUserthough: must be a second extension.

Maybe a 60 month one? 😜

Could it be the biometric letter?

Do not think so. I already received the biometric one saying I will not have to take them again.

Quite the opposite I think. Congratulations. Hopefully it is approval and not a spare 48 month letter.
