Just checked and got the Case Ready Status.  So now my fiance needs to submit the DS-160 and I will work on the I-134.  Will my fiance receive an email or how does this part normally work?

The DS-160 is an online form. Either one of you can fill it out. Id suggest working on it together and gathering all your documents first because it's not the easiest form to get done. I know because Ive already submitted my fiance's DS-160 along with her son's. The embassy will want a form DS-160 completed online for EACH applicant, including all children that will also be receiving a visa. If your fiancée will be bringing 4 children, then you will need to complete and submit a DS-160 for all 4 children, plus your fiancée. The DS-160 will require the ALIEN to upload a 2x2 passport size photo of the ALIEN with a white background. You must upload a picture or it will not allow you to submit. When you have completed the form and uploaded the picture you will click the SUBMIT BUTTON. Once you submit it, it will be sent directly to the US State Department and it will instantly provide you with a confirmation page. You MUST print the confirmation page (or choose the email option to print later) and take it to your embassy interview. They do not want you to bring the entire form, they only want you to bring the confirmation page. Special Note: If you spend too long on any page the system will think you are no longer there and it will time out and you will lose everything on that page and have to start over, so try to move quickly through it.

@Shane-Debby Thank you.  Luckily, she does not have children so that will make it easier.  So you recommend she obtains the two passport photos before we start it?

Same for me. My DS-160 confirmation page states on it that Passport photo will be taken at the ASC. Which I'm pretty sure is the biometrics appointment.

Looks like I almost have all of the info ready.  My fiance is having trouble with the obtaining the police records from Venezuela.  She has one from 5 years ago but I believe she needs one that is more recent.

Fiance had her interview today and was approved!  We received packet 3 last week on the 10th and she was able to schedule her medical appointment and interview within a week.  She said the interview was short and not many questions were asked by the consular officer she spoke to.

Yes and maybe more. the DS-160 will need a digital photo. Other photo requirements im sure differ from country to country. For example, in the Philippines my fiance will need to bring 4 photos with her to st lukes for the medical exam. 3 are for the visa which they send to the embassy and one is for the medical report.

Uploading or not a picture to DS-160 depends on the embassy.
If your DS-160 asks for a picture, then upload it. If it doesn't ask, it will say that your picture will be taken at ASC (biometrics appointment).
Here's a link from 2014 explaining it.
Here's another link with the embassies that require it or not (old one, may not be up to date, but I know none of the embassies in my country require a picture to be uploaded).
