Hello Everyone, I am the petitioner and was born and raised in the Philippines til age 21. I am now 29 and a US Citizen, do i also need a CENOMAR? or only my fiance?

Hi everyone,

I have been a long time lurker and learnt so much from this community. Thank you for always spreading positivity and helping each other with this difficult process. My case is finally ready on CEAC website but I never received a welcome letter from NVC. When I try to make a payment for visa fees, I get a message that K1 visas are considered non immigrant. I was able to get my invoice ID and case number from NVC through inquiry but no formal letters/emails received about the process. Now I am super confused. I know I have to complete DS160 and I already have that completed, just need to click submit. I would like to know what to do next? Where do I go to pay fees? Thank you!

Embassy: UAE

NOA1: March 03, 2022

NOA2: April 20, 2023

NVC received: June 25, 2023

NVC left: Aug 1, 2023

Case ready: Aug 3, 2023

My case is in Ready status from 21st July 2023 at NVC but I have received no communication from the Mumbai Embassy. I have already scheduled my Consular interview for 18th August 2023. But for medical appointment they are asking for appointment letter from Mumbai Embassy. Any suggestions on what can I do? No proper response to phone calls or messages to the embassy.

Our case is also ready but I have a problem. While filling in DS-160, I do not have a phone number from my employer nor is it possible to get one. I cannot put Unknown or Does Not Apply, only numbers.
Any recommendations?

With the DS-160 filled and submitted, you usually need to go to an official interview scheduling website. You'll also pay the DS-160 fee there.
I see for UAE it's this one: https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-AE/iv
See more info here: https://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=United Arab Emirates&cty=Abu Dhabi

Seeing your embassy is unresponsive, I'd send the doctor office the interview confirmation page so they know you have an interview scheduled at your embassy. See if they take that as a confirmation. I am not sure how Mumbai embassy works when it comes to packet 3. I'd try researching with people that already been through Mumbai to see what they did.

Ya I tried to schedule tbe medical, but they are asking for appointment letter from embassy. I got a response from the consulate that they need the appointment letter from NVC, but I already had given them the welcome letter. So I am not sure what they are asking for here now. I just gave them the welcome letter again.

My fiancee just finished her interview at the Mumbai embassy. You have to show the Appointment letter confirmation for medical. Not the welcome letter. When you booked the biometrics and interview, it gave you a confirmation email. That email shows the dates for both, a barcode of your DS-160, and instructions of what to bring to both appointments. This is what my fiancee showed at the medical appointment.

So apart from welcome letter and case Ready status at ceac website. Did you receive any appointment letter, packet of instructions or your i129f packet from US consulate? My appointment confirmation is from the changed website and it has no details of medical anywhere.
