For all the Germans in this Topic - I reached out to my pervious, local congressman of the Bundestag about the Staatsbuergerschaftsgesetz / update.

Let's hope the Beibehaltungsurkunde will be history soon! Probably worth the wait.

Getting 2 letters from USCIS today in the mail (according to informed delivery). Will update you later. It seems a lot of us are going through the exact same timeline. 💫 I can see one of them says USCIS already has my biometrics.

the letters were the NOA i797c and the online account access. 🥳

Yes, extension is for 48 months.

I travelled 3 times on extension letter and expired Green Card. Didn't encounter issues but you need to do research to ensure the airline and country you're travelling to know how to deal with it.

Here is thread about travelling on extension letters. You can go to last page and search backwards for latest reports:

Sorry I messed it up before. The other day it was only a notice of receipt. Today I received the actual NOA haha. So basically here’s my timeline.

April 17, 2023 Package mailed via UPS

April 19, 2023 Delivered

April 24, 2023 Received Text (IOE)

Case status as of 4/19: "Case was received and a receipt notice was sent”

4/29: letter saying they received it and that they already have my biometrics

5/2: NOA I-797

Now time to celebrate 😅
